Since it would be unfair to leave Frog out of the fun, I made one up for him too. Unfortunately, he has asked that I not come to his class’s party– for the first time ever. I know we are getting to that stage, but it still makes me sad. I’m linking up again at the Hey Girl Linky Party.
Awwww, I remember that with my oldest. Of course he could of been hoping I wouldn’t come to class because of the one time I was dressed like a clown. But my friends son went home that day and told her he wished she was like Charlie’s mom… She’s a clown!

It is so sad when they start to be independent. He is a cutie and well-deserved his Hey Girl moment!
Awwww…he is such a cutie! Yeah, we are writing things on our guy’s photos that we just WISH they would say. Well, you still have your little guy to go to the Valentine parties for (for a few years). Thanks for sharing over at the “Hey Girl” party.

Awww! Poor mama! Mine are still younger than this, but at least you know he has to go through this stage to get to the mom-as-friend stage. He’s such a handsome boy!

Oh that is so funny! I remember when my son was in the 8th grade and was going to have a 3 day “Montana History” field trip. I was so thrilled when he asked me to chaperone….I couldn’ t believe it! As soon as I said yes, he handed me a list of the snacks all of his friends wanted me to make for the bus and train! Oh well…..at least he asked!!

Yup, that’s when he wants me to come to something– when he needs something special. Interestingly, he likes having his little brother attend things, and I have to bring him.
