Well, I saw over at Two Twenty One, View Along the Way, Bliss Ranch, Decor and the Dog and Domestic Imperfection that there was a Hey Girl linky party going on… so I made one of my little monkey. It’s the one wish I have most days– a little longer nap. He loves his Mommy, but sometimes the intensity of his love is exhausting!

Thanks! I shouldn’t complain, as he is a good napper. But lately, he wakes up as soon as I really get involved in a project!
By some strange universal fluke – must be the aligning of the stars, or the phase of the moon – my two kiddos are actually BOTH asleep at this very moment. So I am SOOO feeling your “hey girl” today!

Oh man, your little guy is TOO cute! But this cuts a little close the bone for me
One of my toddlers has just decided she doesn’t need an afternoon nap anymore. (Noooooooo!) Neither girl has ever been good at napping…or sleeping at night…or being away from me. Which is to say, I feel you, mama! And the “hey girl” for your bigger boy is so sweet and poignant and makes me weepy just thinking about such “milestones” in the future.
